Despite the circumstances that we're all faced with at the moment, our company actually has something to celebrate this month.
At some point during April of 2010 (we can't remember the actual day) we received our first consignment of Ginevra coffee from Sicily meaning we have been trading for 10 years now.
What an achievement! We are very proud of everything that we have done. It's 7 years this month (We always tend to start things in April!) since we opened a coffee shop for the first time in our most excellent home town of Prudhoe in Northumberland. That shop has moved in to larger premises twice now and by this time next year we will be running 2 units in the same town as the Tyne View Retail Park opens in Low Prudhoe.
Little did we think that after 10 years it would be our website which played such a huge role, March 2020 being our busiest month to date in terms of sales. Whilst the coffee shops are temporarily closed due to the Coronavirus, our local, national and even international customers continue to order Ginevra coffee from this website, ensuring we keep our brilliant team in jobs and continue in the direction of our ultimate vision to become a well known brand of Italian coffee here in the UK.
So thank you very much to everybody who has bought from us, supplied us, helped us and supported us in any way. We are eternally grateful as we still enjoy what we do very much, even after 10 years of the issues faced by small business owners.
Finally, special thanks must go to our growing team who work very hard to give the best service possible. We could not grow at the level we have grown without them.
