Coffee of the Month during October is the "Lattina Intenso" blend.
This coffee is supplied in 250g tins which are particularly handy for storing coffee once the Intenso blend has gone. At home we use an Intenso tin to store freshly ground coffee and the expiry date on the tin says December 2012! If it ain't broke, don't fix it!!
The blend itself is quite mild even if it's name suggests otherwise. It's perfectly suited to filter coffee machines, percolators and of course, espresso.
As an espresso you can expect smoothness rather than strength but of course being roasted in Sicily it still has a certain punch to it.
